SANDECH has a team of highly qualified professionals, trained to work under a wide variety of conditions, with specific certifications such as: Electrical Installations and Services (NR-10), Transport, Handling, Storage and Handling of Materials (NR-11), Dangerous Activities and Operations (NR-16), Flammable and Combustible Liquids (NR-20), Work in the Open Air (NR-21), Fire Protection (NR-23), Safety and Health in Confined Spaces (NR-33), Work at Heights (NR-35), among others.

Cables and electronic boards representing industrial automation

Automation

Related to the control of industrial processes and the automation of manufacturing processes, it is a branch of engineering that uses control systems, actuators, sensors, and data acquisition, employing software and resources from mechanics, electrical engineering, and robotics.

Automation Engineering Projects: Installation of operating systems and other peripheral programs, migration of the supervisory system, conversion and adjustments of screens and databases, driver installation, internal tests, client-monitored tests, development of network architectures and functional diagrams, as well as interlock logic design projects, among others.

Engineers analyzing concrete structure at a construction site

Civil/Concrete Structure

It is the branch of engineering that covers everything from design to construction or maintenance of a project, whether buildings, bridges, tunnels, or any other structures, always aiming at the well-being of society and the preservation of the environment.

Civil Engineering Projects: Buildings, equipment bases, layout studies, etc.

Power transmission lines at sunset

Electrical

It is the branch of engineering responsible for applying and developing electricity and electromagnetism studies in electrical systems, ensuring the correct generation, transmission, and/or distribution of electrical energy in an industry or enterprise.

Electrical Engineering Projects: generation projects, distribution projects, and SPDA (Lightning Protection System).

Metallic structure with access stairs in an industrial facility

Metallic Structures

Just like civil engineering, this discipline covers everything from conception to construction; however, it focuses on metallic materials and structures, such as roofs and coverings, plates, walkways, scaffolding, rails, pipe racks, and other structures.

Metallic Structure Projects: CT loading/unloading platforms, fall arrest systems, structural reinforcement (laydown areas), access stairs and walkways, guardrails, etc.

Duct and ventilation system in HVAC installation

HVAC

The HVAC discipline (Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning) covers refrigeration projects, including analysis, equipment selection, integration and maintenance of existing HVAC systems, and the full specification of new ones—whether for buildings, factories, or any other location where cooling is required.

HVAC Projects: Sizing of HVAC systems for offices and clean rooms, including pressure cascade studies.

Engineer operating measuring instruments in an industrial setting

Instrumentation

Through measurement, indication, recording, and industrial process control techniques, this engineering field is closely related to Automation. It is responsible for defining the parameters to be evaluated and controlled in the process, as well as the design and specification of the instruments to be implemented.

Instrumentation Projects: Projects for the installation of radars, level, temperature and flow meters, pitot tubes, valves, overfill systems, mediterra, floating seals, and more.

Gears and mechanical components in operation

Mechanical

Using knowledge of physical principles and materials, this discipline is responsible for the development of mechanical systems involving the design, production, and operation of machinery and tools, such as pumps and motors, including both rotating and static equipment.

Mechanical Engineering Projects: New fuel and water storage tanks, pump specifications, and more.

Industry with process towers and chimneys lit at sunset

Process

This discipline is responsible for defining parameters, designing equipment, adaptations, and developing a complete industrial process, based on knowledge of chemistry, physics, unit operations, thermodynamics, and transport phenomena.

Process Engineering Projects: Definition/update of engineering and process flow diagrams (PFDs and P&IDs), specification of equipment such as distillation towers, scrubbers, filters, etc.

Piping and fire safety valve system

Safety

Through national and international regulations and controls in the areas of environment, safety, and occupational health, this discipline studies causes and develops accident prevention projects that may cause any type of injury or even death, whether to employees or Clients of an enterprise.

Safety Engineering Projects: HAZOP/HAZID/APR studies, design of Fixed Fire Fighting Systems (FFFS), etc.

CCTV security camera in operation

Telecom/CCTV

Related to communication and video monitoring technologies, Telecom/CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television) covers the specification of electronic surveillance and telecommunications systems, including cameras, alarms, and cabling, as well as the integration and automation of existing systems and networks.

Telecom/CCTV Projects: Access control, telephony and internet projects, installation of monitoring equipment, radio communication redundancy, etc.

Industrial piping network at sunset

Piping

This branch of engineering is responsible for the detailed design, construction, operation, and maintenance of isolated pipes or an entire piping network. Flow analysis, pipe or duct dimensions and stresses, as well as the choice of material to be manufactured, are also part of the activities in this area.

Piping Projects: Hydraulic studies, flexibility analysis, heat tracing, among others.
